Thermal Sunyaev-Zel'dovich simulation data
We have produced a number of different simulations of the thermal
(and kinetic) Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (SZ) effect.
The following data is available to the community:
- Simulated thermal SZ maps and cluster catalogues
from Schulz & White (ApJ, 586, 723, 2003)
[astro-ph/0210667].
This data set consists of 10 maps, 3 degrees on a side, made from a
high resolution N-body simulation using a semi-analytic method adjusted
to match full hydrodynamic simulations.
- Simulated thermal SZ maps and cluster catalogues
from White, Hernquist & Springel (ApJ, 579, 16, 2002)
[astro-ph/0205437].
This data set consists of 15 maps, 1 degree on a side, made from a
hydrodynamic simulation including radiative cooling, feedback and energy
injection by galactic winds.
- Simulated thermal SZ maps and cluster catalogues
from White (ApJ, 597, 650, 2003)
[astro-ph/0302371].
This data set consists of 10 maps, 10 degrees on a side, made from a
high resolution N-body simulation using the semi-analytic method described
in Schulz & White (2003). This data is suitable for simulations involving
the Planck satellite and is being made available to the community
to further Planck analysis activities.
